BMC WWII Marx Bulldozer and Battle Damaged Building
This 3 piece includes a Bulldozer with rolling wheels and blade that lifts, Driver, and Knock-it-Down ruined Building. The Bulldozer is made from OD Green color stiff HIPS plastic and features rolling wheels and blade that can be raised and lowered into 3 different positions. It measures 6.25 x 3.5 x 2.6 inches tall. The driver is made from slightly flexible OD Green color LDPE plastic. The battle damaged building measures 7 x 3.5 x 4 inches tall, made from slightly flexible HDPE Gray color plastic. It has 5 pieces that include a base, main walls, door, support wall and roof. The pieces are carefully set up and easy to knock down.
This Bulldozer was first produced by Ideal Toys in the late 1950's and was offered in both construction and army versions in a few different colors. The driver and building were first offered in late 1950's and 1960's by LOUIS MARX AND COMPANY for their legendary Battleground Military Playsets. The building originally included a mousetrap mechanism and was designed to blow up when hit with a shell from a spring loaded cannon. Neither of these will pass current safety requirements so the building has been repurposed for demolition by Bulldozer. These are some of the most iconic plastic army men accessories of all time, and this new production is manufactured using the original molds.
This is a set of real American Made plastic toys, meant to be set up, knocked over, picked up, and played with for many years to come. Packed in polybag bag with insert card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
